Airvance is currently seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager for its Czech and Slovak subsidiaries MultiVAC (www.multivac.cz). With a strong presence in the Czech Republic (four branches) and Slovakia (two branches), MultiVAC specializes in cash-and-carry operations and air quality project management.
The challenge
As the Finance and Administration Manager, you will act as the primary financial authority for the Czech and Slovak operations, with responsibilities including Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Consolidation, Reporting, Budgeting, Payroll, and Administration.
In this role, you will lead and manage the finance and administration teams for both Czech and Slovak entities. You will oversee a team of three professionals: Chief Accountant, Accountant, and Administrative Officer, and report directly to the Managing Director of MultiVAC.
This senior position, based in Pardubice, is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of financial and administrative functions across both countries.
Main missions
You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities (in compliance with Group policies):
Accounting
- Overlook accurate monthly and annual closings,
- Check tax and legal reports for local authorities (VAT, customs, tax, etc.).
Controlling
- Develop controlling reports for country activities,
- Produce variance analyses between budget and actuals,
- Prepare budget and forecasting data,
- Report monthly to group headquarters with a strict respect of deadlines.
Treasury
- Manage cash flow and funding requirements across entities,
- Prepare cash forecasts for the Group,
- Analyses WCR variances,
- Optimize WCR with specific monitoring mainly for customer receivables and stock coverage.
Consolidation & Reporting
- Manage customer risk,
- Implement or modify processes within the company to improve internal control and comply with Group policies,
- Investigate regularly processes in all business cycles to identify potential areas for improvement.
Human Resources
- Prepare data for payroll and social charges, ensuring data accuracy, booking and payment,
- Bonus calculation, Salary review,
- Prepare the working agreements and labour directives,
- Legal watch.
Administration
- Manage the company’s administration and ensure the smooth running of the office and supporting processes,
- Manage the suppliers of the services,
- Manage the ERP and other systems (intranet, electronic attendance system) as the administrator.
The profile
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in finance, including at least 5 years in a finance management role with a strong focus on accounting, finance, or controlling.
Qualifications: Certified accountant with internationally recognized finance credentials. Education: University degree in finance or economics.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems and business intelligence software.
Soft skills
Autonomous, highly organized, and decisive.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective across all hierarchical levels.
Proven ability to set priorities, manage tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Czech and fluency in English.
